Established in 2002 as a community-based youth group by local residents from Highfields, Leicester for young people from this area of the city, an area where 1 in 2 children live below the poverty line.

Shubaan Youth Group has since developed its services and now provides a range of services for young people, with members from across the city of Leicester aged between 7-21 years old.

Shubaan are keen to ensure the youth from the local area are not missing out on their overall development by not having access to safe space and engage in recreational and physical activities.
